Model (Flex)

This latest design model is a further improvement on the original Basileus α, which achieved overwhelming distance performance, incorporating cutting-edge materials that have been developed in line with the changing times.

In line with modern needs, the Basileus α II also includes a lightweight model in the 40g range, something not possible with the first generation, making it the ultimate weapon for golfers to realize their ideals.

CONCEPT

"Basileus αⅡ" is classified as "A" in the AB map. It is designed to suppress flex from the grip to the middle part, and to run strongly from the tip to the middle part. The C/B value, which is an index of the flex from the grip to the middle part, is set to a hard value of 0.66 (60/S). The design concentrates the power of the swing from the tip to the middle part, making it a shaft that flies with running and bouncing. The T/C value, which indicates how easily the ball is caught, is 0.45 (60/S), making the ball easy to catch. However, the low torque design makes it difficult to make mistakes to the left even if you hit it hard, and you can feel a thick impact while being suitable for swingers. Compared to the original αⅡ, the 70t cross bias sheet at the tip suppresses excess torque (twist), and shows a sharper movement that is concentrated on the swing trajectory. α is a reliable shaft that matches hard swingers with its straightforward tip running.

FEATURE

  • Full length ultra-high elasticity 80t carbon fiber + PAN 40t, with ultra-high elasticity 70t cross seat at the tip ※1
  • 40R2/R is lightweight and has low torque, adopting ultra-high elasticity 80t hybrid seat + ultra-high elasticity 70t cross seat at the tip
  • 40S uses PAN-based 50t sheet that achieves the optimal balance of light weight, hardness and strength.
  • Realizing the best lineup for the target golfers by using base materials according to specifications
  • Each model has an optimal material layout to produce low torque and stable running performance
  • High rigidity from the grip to the middle. Explosive speed that only occurs from the middle to the tip. Pursuit of distance
  • The grip is stable, and the tip is perfect for hard swingers who value a sense of speed.

*1 Adopted in 50-R/S/X and 60-S/X
