Basileus BTi Iron Shaft. A carbon shaft for irons with a new FlatFlex design (uniform flex for all clubs). This shaft was designed and created to achieve sufficient flexibility in the grip and high rigidity at the tip, something that was not possible with conventional iron designs.

This is a gem of an iron shaft that will shake up the heavy carbon iron shaft market. It faithfully embodies the basic performance of a "carbon shaft" that athlete golfers demand. "BTi" is the ultimate weapon for golfers to realize their ideals.

CONCEPT

"BTI" is classified as "D" on the "AB map [UT/Iron standard]". However, only the AW/SW shaft (#11) is designed closer to the "B" type, which eliminates unnecessary behavior to achieve accurate short approaches. In addition to the impact that can be hit with the high rigidity of the tip, the low torque design improves control performance. The C/B value, which is an index of the flex at the grip, is 0.58, and the T/C value, which is an index of the flex at the tip, is 0.76 (S100-#7), which is a value that emphasizes the flex at the grip, and is a highly controllable iron shaft designed to aim dead at the pin. The greatest feature of BTI is that the flex value of all clubs is constant. From long irons to short irons, it creates a "uniform flex feeling" and supports iron shots, where "stability" and "accuracy" are the most important points.

For long irons, the medium trajectory comes from the flex at the grip and the high rigidity of the tip. And in the short irons, this is where the FlatFlex design effect is at its maximum. A typical shaft with "flowing flex" and "high tip stiffness + bending at the grip" tends to produce a medium to low trajectory, but the FlatFlex design makes it easy to hit a high trajectory. From this, it can be said that the greatest effect of Flat-Flex is that it enables automatic trajectory flow. It can be said to be a masterpiece that pursues the reflection of the golfer's intention with unparalleled accuracy. In terms of swing type, it is aimed at technical hitters who control with wrist work, but at the same time, it is also widely targeted at those who currently use steel shafts weighing around 90g to 120g.

FEATURE

  • [FlatFlex] (uniform flex) design for all clubs provides a uniform swing feel
  • Low torque design with double bias structure
  • Designed with emphasis on high tip rigidity and flexibility at the handle
  • Achieves smooth flexibility that you wouldn't expect from a 100g model
  • Long irons have a medium trajectory, while short irons have a high trajectory
  • Solid-state design that looks like it was carved out of metal
